The Telugu language film Thimmarusu is a remake of the 2019 Kannada film Birbal. Thimmarusu is quite an engaging watch as it is revolves around a murder case. The story begins when a bartender gets falsely accused of murder and is sentenced to life imprisonment. This is where lawyer Ramachandra (Satya Dev) steps in and reopens the case. He overcomes many hurdles and pressures to prove his point and find the real criminal. The film is directed by Sharan Koppisetty and is currently streaming on Netflix.

Srikanth Addala directorial film Narrappa is based on the events of the Karamchedu massacre in 1985. The story is about Ramasagaram village where people are divided by caste and social standing. Venkatesh Daggubati plays the role of a meek middle-aged man keen to keep his family safe. If you’re someone who enjoys period action drama, you must add this film to your list.

  • Drushyam 2

Drushyam 2 is a roller coaster of thrills. It is about Rambabu played by Venkatesh, a caring father, a husband who can go to any extent to save his family.
