This film, which was also released in the same year as Kaalakaandi, is a convoluted and mind-bending tale of a man who finds out that his wife is cheating on him. As a result of the same, Khan’s leading man weaves an intricate web of lies and blackmail in order to effectively torture his wife and the man she is cheating on him with. 3) Brij Mohan Amar Rahe (2017)
This absurdist comedy film is the tale of a man who fakes his own death in order to get off the radar of a certain group of people with nefarious intentions for him. But some time later, the lead character, who ends up assuming a new identity, gets booked for killing himself. 4) Kolamaavu Kokila (2018)
The first on the list of dark Tamil comedy movies is this Nayanthara starrer. The movie in question is about Nayanthara’s titular character, Kokila, and her attempt to have a more stable financial situation by selling drugs. Eventually, the film becomes complicated as the lives of Kokila and her family are upended by an internal drug war, which paves the way for a myriad of dark comedy sequences during the third act of the film.
